Icons of Australia Tour

Small Group Touring

We know from listening to our guests’ valued comments that some would prefer a touring holiday with fewer people than our usual groups. So for this season, Distant Journeys is pleased to introduce our new Icons of Australia tour, taking you to the most iconic places of this vast country in a group of no more than 24 like-minded travellers.

As well as a smaller party, this wonderful tour also offers increased flexibility with two different itinerary options; either enjoy three nights in the gorgeous resort of Noosa on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast with a full day tour of Fraser Island, or alternatively spend two nights in Adelaide then travel in style to Sydney aboard the world-renowned Indian Pacific train.

Small yet perfectly formed, welcome to the Icons of Australia.

Special Offer – Save up to £632 per couple

If you book an Icons of Australia tour now, you will be able to enjoy a two night homebound stopover for the incredible price of only £29 per person (£58 for single occupancy). This offer saves you up to £632 per couple and ends on the 30th November 2017. Please note, this offer is only available on tours departing after 1st September 2018.

Day 1 – Depart UK

Depart from the UK airport most convenient for you with Qantas / Emirates, at no extra cost: London Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle or Glasgow.
In-flight meals and drinks included

Day 2 – Singapore, 2 nights

Just so you know, all our flights to Singapore travel via Dubai. When you arrive into the fantastic city of Singapore, you’ll transfer to the Four Points by Sheraton, which is ideally located close to the banks of the Singapore River.

Alternative Stopover – Dubai or Perth

We have based days 2 – 4 of this itinerary on a stopover in Singapore. Alternatively you may choose to stop in Dubai or spend an extra two nights in Perth for the same price. The alternative stopovers include transfers to and from the hotel, daily breakfast, and if choosing Dubai a city sightseeing tour. Flight timings and departure airports vary with alternative stopovers – please speak with one of our personal travel experts for more details.

Day 3 – Singapore

Singapore is a city where east and west meet; both cosmopolitan and culturally rich. Chinese, Malay and Indian influences fuse to produce Singapore’s unique culture which you’ll have the opportunity to explore during a morning city tour. Breakfast and in-flight meals and drinks included

Day 5 – Perth

Although Perth is the world’s most isolated city, the capital of Western Australia is known across the globe as ‘the friendly city’. This morning’s tour however will explore the city’s beauty. King’s Park is a notable stop not only for the flora and fauna, but for the incredible views of the city. We’ll visit the nearby port of Fremantle with its historic buildings and interesting Maritime Museum. Early booking offer – save up to £632 per couple

Travelling to the other side of the world naturally means you have a long journey ahead. So to help make the journey a little easier, we’re pleased to include a two-night outbound stopover in either Dubai or Singapore. Alternatively, you may choose to stay in Perth for an extra two nights before the beginning of your tour. In addition to your included stopover on the way out, right now we’re offering two-night homebound stopovers for just £29 per person (£58 for single occupancy). This amounts to a saving of up to £632 on the normal price. To take advantage of this special offer price, all you need to do is book by 30th November 2017.

The offer is available on all Icons of Australia tours and is subject to availability of flights and accommodation at the time of booking. Your special offer homebound stopovers are Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok or Dubai. The offer includes return transfers and accommodation for two nights including full breakfast.
