Kuranda Skyrail & Scenic Railway, Australia

Available on our tours to Australia, Kuranda is the ‘Village in the Rainforest’. We travel there via the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, gliding silently over the world’s oldest rainforest. In Kuranda we spend time with local indigenous people before returning to Cairns is onboard the famous Kuranda Scenic Railway.

When travelling to New Zealand a popular Freedom Day choice is the TTS Earnslaw, a lovingly restored steamship built in 1912. Cruise across picturesque Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown to Walter Peak High Country Farm where we watch the dogs rounding up sheep from the hill paddocks, and see the farmer shear a sheep.

Okonomiyaki is a Japanese pancake dish synonymous with Hiroshima region. They have over 2,000 Okonomiyaki restaurants! Made of egg, cabbage and soba noodles and utterly delicious, learn how to make them in a traditional restaurant, before tucking in to enjoy.

Nestled between towering mountains lies the Franschhoek Valley, where splendid South African wines are grown Join our Cape Winelands tour and you can explore some of the finest vineyards in South Africa. In addition to wine-tasting in beautiful vineyards, you’ll also discover the pretty town of Stellenbosch with its  oak tree-lined streets and picture-postcard Cape Dutch buildings.

Organic Farm & Cookery Class, Vietnam

We cycle from Hoi An through picturesque countryside, passing rice fields and orchards before reaching Thanh Dong, an organic farm run by locals as a community-based project. Join the farmers in their daily work, before using produce harvested from the organic vegetable garden to cook a well-earned Vietnamese lunch with our host.

Community Village, Cambodia

Whilst visiting Siem Reap in Cambodia, take the opportunity to learn more about the local communities. Traveling to the village Chansar, take a tour around the village talking to local families, learning about their way of life in this rural community and enjoy a simple yet delicious lunch with our hosts.
