Discover the real Bali with an immersive evening of culture, dance and food on this evening tour to Bali’s Uluwatu temple. If you decide to visit Bali on a homebound stopover during one of our amazing escorted tours, you can add on this Uluwatu temple experience as an optional excursion.

Departing from your hotel, transport is provided with this evening tour, meaning you don’t even need to worry about how to get to the Uluwatu temple. On your way to the temple, you’ll enjoy glimpses of the Indian Ocean and wonderful coastal landscapes. The famous temple of Pura Luhur Uluwatu dates from the 10th century, and is one of the six temples of the world revered by all Balinese people. Located on the southern coast of the island on the Bukit Peninsula, Uluwatu temple sits on the edge of 300-feet-high cliffs, offering an excellent vantage point for stunning views out over the ocean. Witness the mesmerising sunset over the sea before your evening entertainment begins.

As the sun sets, you’ll be treated to a Kecak dance performance, a traditional Balinese artform. During the Kecak performance, dancers gracefully move in a circle, surrounding a blazing torch. With the sunset and the Uluwatu temple as the backdrop, this is a truly moving performance you’ll never forget.

Although the sun has now set on the island, your Bali evening tour is not over yet – following the Kecak performance, you’ll be whisked away to the peaceful Jimbaran Bay for a beachside barbecue dinner. By night, this sandy beach is lit by the bright night sky above you. Gaze up at the stars and listen to the waves lap against the shore as you tuck into a delicious seafood barbecue dinner of prawns, squid, clams and grilled fish. The tasty fresh seafood is served up Indonesian style, with spinach, rice and sambal, an aromatic chilli sauce.

After a magical evening at the Uluwatu temple and on the sands of Jimbaran Bay, the tour also includes transport back to your hotel, where you can get a good night’s rest, your stomach full of delicious seafood and your mind full of the night’s amazing memories.
