Dining options

The Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima boasts six fantastic places to eat, as well as two extremely inviting bars, perfect for winding down your evening with a drink. For traditional Japanese fare, head to Shusen, a Japanese-style bar where guests dine casually at the counter on seasonal Japanese dishes, accompanied by a range of sakes. You can also sample the elegant Kaiseki-style cuisine, either at breakfast, lunch or dinner, at Naniwa, which has its own sushi counter, Mandokoro, serving up hand-rolled sushi. For teppanyaki, where skilled chefs will prepare dishes right in front of your eyes, pull up a chair at Naniwa.

You’ll also find dining options from around the world at the Rihga Royal Hotel. Decorated in the style of Chambord Castle, Chambord is a delightful a la carte restaurant combining French cuisine with local Hiroshima ingredients, with stunning views toward Hiroshima Castle. If you have an appetite for Chinese, Ryu is a Chinese restaurant, opening its doors for lunch and dinner. Luore is the restaurant to go to if variety is what you’re after. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as cafe-style snack, Italian dishes populate most of the menu, but Luore also serves other European dishes and buffet dishes prepared right in front of you.

After a delicious evening meal, there are two wonderful bars where you can bring the night to a memorable end. With its wooden interior, Bar Columba oozes warmth and cosiness, and offers traditional cocktails as well as a selection of whiskies from around the world. For an extra special occasion, you can both dine and drink at Rihga Top, a lounge on the hotel’s top level with amazing views all around of the Hiroshima cityscape. Soak up the views while dining on a variety of dishes and sipping famous cocktails.
