Tour Description:
Explore Victoria’s enormous food and wine scene with this wonderful Melbourne food and wine tour. From Melbourne, you’ll to travel around and taste your way around the nearby Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas, seeing some incredible sights along the way too. It’s the perfect way to discover Australia for foodies and wine lovers.

Leaving from one of several pick-up points in Melbourne, our first stop is the beautiful Geelong waterfront, an hour south-west of Melbourne on the Bellarine peninsula. This peaceful seafront location is the perfect place to start your day with an invigorating morning stroll along the esplanade, taking in the historic boardwalk, sea baths, and far reaching views over the bay.

Next comes the first wine tasting tour of the day, visiting the Scotchmans Hill Vineyard. Set amongst the vines with magnificent views, you’ll get to taste a variety of wines in a beautiful old French provincial barn, surrounded by barrels of aged wine. It’s then time to move on to even more wine tasting at the Terindah Estate, where the views of Port Phillip Bay are nothing short of majestic. At this boutique winery, you’ll get to enjoy a classic cellar door wine tasting experience. Our final Melbourne wine tasting opportunity of the day comes at the Jack Rabbit Vineyard, home to a wonderful vineyard restaurant serving Modern Australian cuisine. Enjoy a spot of lunch and choose a tasty dish from the seasonal menu, paired with one of their excellent wines, before you set sail for the Mornington Peninsula.

From nearby Queenscliff we set sail on a bay cruise across the water to the Mornington Peninsula. Paired with a delicious on-board afternoon tea, with pots of tea and scones and other scrumptious sweet treats piled high, this is one of the stand-out highlights of this Melbourne wine and food tour. Take in the incredible views from the deck of the endless waters, spectacular coastline and perhaps even some dolphins emerging from the waves.

Once you’ve arrived on the Mornington Peninsula, it’s time to make our way to one of the area’s leading craft breweries, the St Andrews Beach Brewery. Out in the beautiful beer garden, you’ll get to take in beach and ocean views while sampling the brewery’s best craft beers from a tasting paddle. The tour then moves on to some incredible sightseeing at the Arthur’s Seat Gondola. In your gondola car, you’ll rise high above the trees and the highest point in the Mornington Peninsula, the result being some utterly mesmerising views that reach for miles over Port Phillip Bay, its surrounding coastline and even the towering buildings of Melbourne in the distance.

The tour’s final stop is the seaside town of Mount Martha: another opportunity to get some wonderful sea air in your lungs. Stretch your legs with a stroll along the lovely sandy beach and be sure to grab a photo of the beachfront’s iconic bathing boxes, or beach huts, which line the beach sporting various bright colours. You’ll then be transported back to your chosen pick-up point in Melbourne, arriving early evening, giving you plenty of time for dinner and any other evening plans you may have.
