Mowana Safari Lodge has an idyllic location on the banks of the Chobe River, where four African countries; Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe, meet. The hotel is named after the baobab, Africa’s ‘tree of life’, and was built around a magnificent 800-year-old specimen of this upside-down tree.

Your Stay
All the guest rooms are well-equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities, and ceiling fans as well as air-conditioning. Room balconies face the Chobe River, making it a perfect spot to enjoy an early morning cup of tea surrounded by the sounds of an African dawn. The resort facilities include a swimming pool, golf course and a fitness centre. The blissful infinity pool seems to drop away into the surrounding Chobe landscape, and there’s an inviting large, decked terrace area. The onsite spa and wellness centre is complemented by a range of sporting facilities to enjoy, including tennis courts and a 9-hole golf course. A truly unique feature is Mowana Safari Resort’s hair and beauty salon, set in a treehouse!
