Leave the city behind and enjoy a day in the country on this delightful full day tour exploring the spectacular and picturesque scenery of the Scenic Rim. This region is home to six national parks and a World Heritage Rainforest, just an hour’s drive from Brisbane.

The first stop is for morning tea and freshly baked scones in the pretty country town of Boonah, before journeying along The Falls Scenic Drive to view two stunning plunge waterfalls, including the 40-metre Queen Mary Falls. There is a choice of walking tracks, one easy, the other more adventurous, to feel the spray as you pass by. At Carr’s Lookout, enjoy superb views over Condamine Gorge and the mountains of the Scenic Rim.

Lunch will be accompanied by wine tasting at Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm, or at Scenic Rim Brewery where local beers can be sampled.  On the way back towards the city, look out for kangaroos before arriving at Mt Coot-tha Lookout, the highest point in Brisbane from where there are panoramic views over the city centre and to Moreton Bay beyond.
