We don't just craft extraordinary journeys - we experience them. Our specialists have personally explored each of our destinations, shaping the years of planning behind every aspect of our holidays. Here, they share their latest adventures.

"I'd travelled in southern India before, but experiencing the Golden Triangle & Ranthambore tour with the Goa extension showed me a completely different side of the country. The pace and energy of the north took my breath away - it's colourful and full of history - yet the warmth of the welcome is just as heartfelt as I remembered. Seeing the Taj Mahal had always been a dream of mine, but nothing prepares you for that first glimpse. And spotting tigers in the wild was extraordinary, a real pinch-me moment. Finishing in Goa was the perfect contrast - time to relax and reflect - and sharing those memories with my family made the whole holiday even more meaningful." Matthew Gill - Product team

"Heading back to Central Asia last summer to research our new Very Best of Uzbekistan tour was a real joy. It's an endlessly fascinating destination, shaped by Silk Road history, striking architecture and such warm hospitality. Standing in Samarkand's Registan Square was incredible - the scale is impossible to grasp until you're there. A highlight was visiting Tersak village, where I shared lunch with a local family and joined in with the traditional music and dancing - a moment I'Il always remember." Sara Harris - Product Manager

"On my research trip to Egypt, I had the privilege of experiencing some of the country's most spectacular wonders. Cairo's New Grand Egyptian Museum was a highlight, its remarkable collection bringing ancient history to life. Seeing the Pyramids of Giza for the first time was equally unforgettable - no photograph can capture their true scale. Travelling with an expert Egyptologist added depth and insight throughout. I also had the pleasure of experiencing a Nile cruise, which offered the chance to visit the Valley of the Kings and other fascinating temples and tombs, while also allowing time to relax by the onboard pool between our explorations. I completely fell in love with Egypt and can't wait to craft some of these experiences into a once in a lifetime journey for you. Helen Goggin - Product Manager

"I received such a warm welcome on my recent trip to Sri Lanka. Whether arriving at a hotel after a long journey or simply passing people on the street, I was met with smiles everywhere - it's completely infectious. In a short time, I experienced such a rich variety of sights, from colourful temples and bustling cities to lush landscapes and wild coastlines. The wildlife was incredible too, from elephants in their natural habitat to countless bird species - I may even have been converted into a birdwatcher, with the Asian green bee-eater a particular favourite." Kath Morris - Product Manager

"My recent trip to New Zealand's South Island will stay with me forever. From Franz Josef, where rainforest meets alpine peaks, to landing by helicopter on the glacier, every day felt as extraordinary as the last. The TranzAlpine train was a real highlight - I took countless photos along the way. Queenstown's lively atmosphere, great restaurants and a chilled Sauvignon Blanc overlooking the lake were the perfect way to unwind. Our Coach Captain's stories brought everything to life, and travelling with such a wonderful group made it all the more memorable." Julia Kidd - Head of People
