The Sudima Hotel has been chosen for two main reasons. Firstly, it is unclear which transport options, if any, would be available should our customers be located in a hotel away from the airport as New Zealand enters a period of strict regulation of movement. The Sudima’s proximity to the airport gives us the best opportunity to quickly reach the airport terminal, should a last-minute opportunity for travel arise.
Secondly, in light of the heightened restrictions being implemented as New Zealand enters level 4 of its response plan to Covid-19, many hotels in New Zealand will be closing their doors in the coming days. The Sudima is one of the few hotels remaining open during this period.
There is a shopping centre, with a pharmacy within walking distance of the hotel. For the period Distant Journeys is covering the costs of our guests stay at the hotel, all guests will have breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
