Golden Triangle and Ranthambore
Our holiday was in January 2026 and we had a fantastic time and a good time of the year to travel. A really good overview of Southern India for first time visitors. It is 19 days with 10 different hotels so be prepared to move on and have a full-on programme. This is India so predominantly the foods will be regional and not International. So many visits included - spice growers, tea plantation, bronze sculpture making, silk weaving. a lunch at a home, a cookery demonstration, traditional Kathakali dance performance, cycle rickshaw ride, temples and museums. Cities, Palaces, National Parks and nature. Overnight on a boat. Trains, narrow gauge and mainline.
