A short distance boat ride south from Aswan lies the Philae Temple, an island-based complex built during the reign of Ptolemy II (Egypt’s Greco-Roman Period) and dedicated to Isis, Osiris, and Horus. This evening, we enjoy a Sound and Light Show which transforms the serene Philae Temple into a living canvas of history and myth. As beams of light trace the temple’s intricate columns and sacred halls, reflections shimmer across the Nile, and the story of Isis unfolds before us.
