Departing Knysna, travel via George and cross the spectacular Outeniqua Pass en route to the town of Oudtshoorn, set in the heart of the Klein Karoo. Along the way, enjoy changing landscapes as coastal scenery gives way to wide-open valleys and rugged mountain views.

On arrival, visit a working ostrich farm to learn about these remarkable birds and their importance to the region. Get up close to the ostriches, with the chance to feed them, and then enjoy a relaxed lunch.

The journey then continues into the scenic Cango Valley to explore the famous Cango Caves, one of South Africa’s most impressive natural attractions. Take a guided tour through vast underground chambers filled with dramatic limestone formations, towering stalactites and beautifully sculpted caverns.

After the cave visit, sit back and relax on the return drive to Knysna along the picturesque N2 route, bringing a memorable day of wildlife, nature and scenery to a close.
