There is the opportunity to take the journey from Arthur’s Pass to Christchurch on the TranzAlpine train, arguably one of the most scenic rail journeys in the world. On board, we enjoy thrilling vistas over deep gorges as we travel alongside the ice-fed Waimakariri River.
