Set out early for a morning jeep safari in Blackbuck National Park, accompanied by an experienced naturalist who brings the landscape and its wildlife to life. Covering 34 square kilometres, this protected park is best known for its thriving population of blackbucks, also called Indian antelope, which can often be seen moving across the open grasslands.
As you explore the park, observe the blackbucks living in distinct groups of males, females and fawns, a fascinating sight unique to this species. The reserve is also rich in biodiversity and supports more than 120 species of birds, along with blue bulls and elusive wolves that inhabit the area.
Early morning is the ideal time to visit, when the park is at its most active and the chances of spotting wildlife, including wolves, are at their highest.
