The Kyoto Tokyu Hotel offers six diverse options for dining and refreshments. Tankume Kitamise, directed by renowned chef M Kirisu, is the hotel’s top-billed restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Offering Kyoto-style cuisine, it’s designed to reflect the four seasons with its carefully selected ingredients and presentation. All-day dining can also be enjoyed at Kazahana, which serves a buffet breakfast and a wide variety of international dishes, as well as the option to dine with courtyard views. Star Hill specialises in Chinese cuisine, with dishes from four major regions of China, as well as Chinese-Japanese fusion dishes.

For a relaxed beverage at any time of day, Horikawa is a tea lounge and bar, offering views of the courtyard and its centrepiece waterfall. The hotel’s two other bars also offer equally as memorable views. Rooftop Bar offers the chance to sip champagne while enjoying spectacular views over the city, while The Terrace is a chic tea lounge and bar which floats on the water – a relaxed setting for drinks for any occasion.
