Urban Charm Food Experience

Kuala Lumpur

Overview

Highlights:

  • Sample cuisine made by the different ethnic groups that call Kuala Lumpur home
  • Visit hidden dining spots known only to locals

Enjoy an evening food tour showcasing Malaysia’s diverse cuisine and the best of Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant food scene, on foot and public transport.

Our adventure starts at a renowned food court, where hand-picked restaurants run by second and third-generation families offer a taste of truly authentic Malaysian dishes. In Little India, taste roti canai, an Indian-influenced flatbread served with a curry sauce. Visit a 70-year-old restaurant in Chinatown for their famous meatball soup, discover a vintage grocery store selling nostalgic childhood snacks, and delight in claypot chicken rice, a popular Chinese dish cooked over charcoal fire. Indulge in a traditional dessert, Cendol - a refreshing treat of shaved ice, pandan jelly, coconut milk, and palm sugar before we finish with a visit to a hidden café, to enjoy hand-crafted teas known for their digestive benefits.
