Explore the Santubong and Salak estuaries by boat as we go in search of the wide varierty of animals which call this tropical habitat home. Located on the north-west coast of Sarawak, the estuaries provide a rich ecosystem for many species of flora and fauna. We spend the day cruising the mangrove-lined rivers in search of Irrawaddy dolphins, proboscis monkeys in the treetops overhead and birds such as kingfishers and eagles. As dusk descends, the riverbanks come alive with the twinkle of fireflies, glowing red eyes of crocodiles and the sound of insects fill the jungle.
