Daintree River & Mossman Gorge – Half-day Morning Tour

You visit two unique areas on this trip, Daintree River and Mossman Gorge. We drive north of Port Douglas passing cane fields on the way to the Daintree River. On arrival at the Daintree River we set off by boat looking out for all manner of creatures, including the estuarine crocodile, birds, frogs, and more all in their natural habitat. Enjoy a light morning tea with a lamington before heading back down south to the beautiful Mossman Gorge. We arrive at Mossman Gorge, which is the southern part of the Daintree Rainforest. Local guides will walk with you and share their knowledge of the local flora and fauna and answer any questions you may have. This is an easy 500m return walk mostly along boardwalks.

You can enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear rainforest stream, which can be quite refreshing, whilst being surrounded by the beautiful and healing Mossman Gorge rainforest. After the morning discovering the Daintree Rainforest you will be returned to your accommodation with the rest of the day to enjoy all that Port Douglas village has to offer.
