Overview
Wake up in one of the most beautiful places on earth after a night onboard the Milford Mariner. Enjoy a cruise of the magical Milford Sound, accompanied by a specialist nature guide, who will explain the history and geology of this fascinating area.
The relaxed cruise allows you to view the fjord’s spectacular waterfalls, rainforests, mountains and wildlife – you’re bound to encounter seals and, if with luck, maybe dolphins and penguins too. Later, the Milford Mariner anchors in a sheltered cove, from where you can join a nature guide and explore in the vessel’s tender crafts (small boat) and kayaks. Hardy souls can brave a swim in the crystal clear waters, or if you prefer, you can simply relax onboard the Milford Mariner and soak the beauty of the Milford Sound.
Cabins
The Milford Mariner sleeps just 60 guests and all cabins have private en-suite facilities.
Restaurant and bar
A delicious freshly-prepared carvery buffet will be served in the evening. Then spend time enjoying the company of your fellow travellers in the convivial, fully-licensed bar and star-gazing on the viewing deck before retiring to your private cabin. In the morning, wake to a hearty cooked breakfast prepared by the on-board chef.
