Kangaroo Island Australia is South Australia’s premier nature-based tourism destination. Your Kangaroo Island tour from Adelaide begins early morning when you take a scenic coach journey to Cape Jervis taking in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula with its vineyards, coastal views and rolling hills. On arrival, you will board the Kangaroo Island ferry for the 45-minute crossing to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island.

Your Kangaroo Island tour begins with a visit to Seal Bay Conservation Park where you will be taken on a beach walk with an experienced guide and enjoy being among a colony of rare Australian sea lions and see them play and relax on the beach. You’ll also enjoy a 2-course lunch at Vivonne Bay Bistro, set in a beautiful Australian bushland setting.

Spend the afternoon of your day tour to Kangaroo Island at Flinders Chase National Park, where if we are lucky we may get to see some of the park’s native Australian animals such as kangaroos, wallabies, koalas or echidnas. This protected sanctuary covers some 326 square km and features some of the Island’s best known natural attractions. The park is quickly recovering from the bush fires of 2019-20. During your visit to Kangaroo Island, you will also explore the rugged coastline’s Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Remarkable Rocks provide great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views, and the Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular rock archway, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful Long-nosed Fur Seals that can be seen resting, swimming and playing in the waves or on the rocks.

At the end of our day we return to Penneshaw for the ferry back to Adelaide.
