    Scuba Diving

    Great Barrier Reef

    Overview

    Highlights:

    • The Great Barrier Reef
    • The incredible marine life

You’ll be amazed by its magical marine life and colourful coral from the moment you step off your catamaran and out onto the floating platform located on the Outer Reef. For a much closer look at this World-Heritage Listed site, why not make your Great Barrier Reef experience even more fascinating with either an Introductory SCUBA dive, or for qualified divers, a Certified dive.

Introductory SCUBA Dive - 40 Minutes

A once in a lifetime experience for anyone who loves the water, but has never had the opportunity to learn to dive. An experienced PADI dive instructor will guide you through every step and provide a safe environment to experience your first SCUBA dive. A sheltered dive platform allows you to learn how to use the equipment in a safe, pool-like environment, all under the guidance of your instructor. Once you’ve mastered your equipment and breathing technique, descend using guide ropes into the magical world of the Great Barrier Reef.

Certified SCUBA Dive - 50 Minutes

If you are already a certified diver, then the opportunity to dive the Great Barrier Reef is definitely one to tick off the bucket list. Diving to a maximum depth of 18 metres, view amazing marine life and colourful coral alongside PADI qualified instructors who will ensure you get the most out of your Great Barrier Reef dive.

    Please Note:

    • Introductory SCUBA Dive – A medical declaration will need to be completed before diving. It is recommended for you to review Part A of the medical checklist prior to booking as you may be required to obtain medical clearance from a doctor before participating.
