Highlights:

- Prepare and enjoy traditional Costa Rican dishes using plantain
Delve into one of Costa Rica’s most iconic crops on this Cultural Banana Tour, a hands-on experience that combines agriculture, history, and cuisine. Our journey begins with an introduction to the role of bananas in Costa Rica's culture and economy, highlighting their importance to both local communities and global markets. Stroll through the plantation and discover traditional rural practices, from organic planting to harvesting techniques, and learn how farmers manage challenges and the reality of cultivation.
We round off the experience with a fun and interactive mini-cookery class, where we prepare traditional dishes using plantains, such as patacones (sliced plantain) with ground beans or plantain mince.
