Pisco tastings and lessons on how to make Peru’s most famous cocktail, Pisco Sour, as well as Chilcano de Pisco, set the scene along with treats of creole and Novo-Andina small bites to whet the appetite. For those who dare, delicious offerings like cuy (guinea pig) and alpaca are there for the tasting. Craft a classic ceviche using fresh fish from the coast and finally, prepare ‘lomo saltado’, a well-loved Peruvian stir-fry. This six-step course offers an introduction to Peru’s rich culinary traditions, including tastings of tropical fruits and Andean superfoods, and leaves you with the skills to prepare Peruvian specialties at home.
