Join this immersive half-day experience to explore the vibrant art forms synonymous with Borneo’s tribal artistry. Begin with a visit to Sabah Art Gallery where we discover a diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, and photographs that capture the unique artistic expressions of tribal life and culture. Then we have a chance to get creative. Guided by a local artist, we learn the traditional batik painting technique, a celebrated Malaysian art form, and design and paint our own batik handkerchief as a unique, handmade souvenir.
