Bangkok’s Grand Palace Tour is a “must see” for all visitors to Bangkok. The Grand Palace complex, built in 1782, includes the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) and is unquestionably one of the wonders of the world today.

Within its enormous grounds is the most exotic Buddhist temple and at the heart of the temple itself is a fabulous Buddha image, carved from one piece of jade. The robes on the Buddha are changed with the seasons by HM The King of Thailand, and forms an important ritual in the Buddhist calendar. Thai Kings lived in the Bangkok Grand Palace for around 150 years until around the turn of the twentieth century, but the palace complex is still used to mark all kinds of other ceremonial and auspicious happenings.
