    Itinerary

    Day 1: Vancouver, Overnight

    As the main tour ends and our fellow travellers begin their journey home, we enjoy an extra day and night in vibrant Vancouver. Take time to explore the city at your own pace – stroll or cycle through the lush trails of Stanley Park or opt for one of several excursions. Glide through the scenic fjords of Howe Sound on an exhilarating sea safari, soar above the city on a seaplane flight over the North Shore Mountains, or head to Grouse Mountain before continuing to the iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge. Overnight stay at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre Hotel or the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel.

    Day 2: Klahoose Wilderness Resort, 4 nights

    Our journey today begins with a scenic flight to Powell River, followed by a boat journey from Lund through the serene waters of Desolation Sound. On arrival at Klahoose Wilderness Resort, we are welcomed with an orientation tour and have time to settle in, unwind, or begin exploring before dinner. Nestled on the edge of Homfray Channel – just north of British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast – the resort is surrounded by lush rainforest and the dramatic peaks of the Coast Mountains. During our stay, a wide range of activities is available, from whale watching, wildlife viewing, and guided forest walks to sea kayaking, paddleboarding, and cultural experiences including indigenous storytelling and foraging.

    Day 3: Klahoose Wilderness Resort

    This morning, embark on a cultural and wildlife boat tour through the impressive waters of Desolation Sound and Toba Inlet. As we cruise along the coastline, keep an eye out for orcas, humpback whales, and a variety of seabirds. Along the shoreline, we may also spot black and grizzly bears foraging in their natural habitat – an unforgettable opportunity to witness British Columbia’s incredible wildlife up close.

    Day 4: Klahoose Wilderness Resort

    Today we can choose from the following included activities; indigenous storytelling, cedar weaving, kayaking, ocean swimming, forest walks and ocean foraging. All of which showcase the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of the region.

    Day 5: Klahoose Wilderness Resort

    Today, choose from a range of included activities designed to help you unwind and connect with nature. Enjoy the soothing heat of the woodfire sauna, set out on rainforest walking trails, or explore the calm waters by kayak. For those seeking a slower pace, simply relax and soak up the breathtaking surroundings.

    Day 6: Vancouver, Overnight

    After breakfast, we depart Klahoose Wilderness Resort by boat, returning to Lund and Powell River for our short flight back to Vancouver. On arrival, enjoy a final overnight stay in the city, with time to reflect on the incredible journey through British Columbia’s wild and beautiful landscapes.
