Travelling in daylight and at a gentle pace, Canyon Spirit invites you to unwind in comfort, indulge in regionally inspired cuisine, and embrace a sense of adventure throughout. This three-day rail extension is available on The Very Best of America’s National Parks tour, and guests have a choice of either Signature, or Premier experience.
Itinerary
Day 1: Moab, Overnight
This morning, we depart from Salt Lake City aboard the Canyon Spirit train. Travel in style as we enjoy breakfast and lunch served to our seat, along with a curated selection of beverages. Enjoy the sights through the panoramic windows including the dramatic Thistle Tunnels, the Soldier Summit, and the spectacular Price River Canyon. As we descend, we are treated to views of the towering Book Cliffs before arriving in Thompson Springs. From here, we transfer to Moab, and our hotel for the night, which will be selected by Canyon Spirit.

Day 2: Glenwood Springs, Overnight
Enjoy a morning at leisure, before reboarding Canyon Spirit for the next leg of our journey. As we cross from Utah into Colorado, unwind with a locally inspired dinner onboard, surrounded by the epic vistas of the Southwest. Our onboard hosts share the stories of the land, as we savour a signature cocktail. We arrive in the charming resort town of Glenwood Springs, and transfer to our hotel for our overnight stay, which will be selected by Canyon Spirit.

Day 3: Denver, Overnight
Enjoy breakfast and lunch onboard as our train continues through the awe-inspiring Colorado Rockies. We follow the Colorado River, and cross the Continental Divide, all while soaking in dramatic views from our seat and swapping stories with your fellow travellers. We arrive in Denver this afternoon and transfer to the Magnolia Hotel Denver for our overnight stay.
