Learn about the history of this family run high country station and see how the locals live. Meet animals on the farm and watch sheep being moved by the farm guide and sheep dog. Take in panoramic views of Mt Earnslaw and the Remarkables mountain range, and enjoy a spectacular cruise across Queenstown’s Lake Wakatipu to Mt Nicholas High Country Station aboard the Spirit of Queenstown, a new and environmentally friendly catamaran launched in December 2013.
The cruise offers breathtaking views of Mt. Earnslaw, Bob’s Cove, Cecil Peak, Mt. Nicholas and the Remarkables mountain range, with panoramic 360 degree views from the open top deck. Join the skipper in the open wheelhouse. Comfortable indoor seating with large viewing windows. An informative and entertaining commentary is provided by the local Skipper. There’s also an onboard café with a selection of hot and cold beverages, snacks and lunch options.
