This morning tour begins with the lush rain forest of the Dandenong Ranges National Park, before we make our way in to Sherbrooke Forest with its tall eucalyptus and chatting kooaburras. You’ll have a chance to hand feed King Parrots and Crimson Rosellas at Grants Picnic Ground. Enjoy a morning Bush Billy tea complete with lamingtons, Vegemite and crackers, which will set you up for a short bushwalk.
It’s then time to take a trip on the Puffing Billy steam train, Australia’s most notable narrow gauge railway, through the forest from Belgrave to Menzies Creek, the most scenic section of the original steam locomotive’s journey.
