Perth – Full Day Pinnacles, Koalas and Sandboarding 4WD Adventure
This exciting full day tour begins at Caversham Wildlife Park in the Swan Valley. Featuring over 200 species of animals in a walk-through environment, this park includes friendly koalas, wombats and numerous kangaroos and is run by dedicated wildlife professionals ensuring you have the best opportunity for animal interaction and the chance to hand-feed the kangaroos.
Next, we travel to the lobster fishing town of Cervantes. Once here, enjoy a behind the scenes factory tour on the processing of Western Australian Rock Lobster, followed by an included gourmet bento style chicken salad picnic lunch complete with dessert, cheese and biscuits! Alternatively, you may upgrade your lunch to include lobster for an extra $25/pp (Must be pre-booked).
Then it’s onwards to the Pinnacle Desert in the Nambung National Park for a gentle walk through the fascinating landscape. You have the opportunity to take a stroll through this eerie desert, amongst the iconic Pinnacles, believed to have been created millions of years ago when seashells were broken down into sand and then eroded by water and wind. A highlight of the tour involves 4-wheel driving over the vast sand dunes of Lancelin in custom built vehicles.
After an amazing day we return to Perth down the Indian Ocean Drive stopping to view wildflowers en route. Varieties include the orange flowering Christmas Tree, Kangaroo Paw, Banksia, Wattle and Everlastings.
Please note: Sometimes due to soft sand dunes delays may occur. Tour is not suitable for pregnant women, people with back problems or infants. Wildflower season commences September through to early November. Profusion of wildflowers depends on weather and other conditions, therefore sightings cannot be guaranteed. Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a hat and your camera.
